NYLON Members Yacht Party In Miami Was Fun, Fantastic & A Perfect Start To An Extravagant Weekend!

NYLON didn’t wait for the first gallery to open before setting the tone for Art basel. On December 4th, the magazine kicked off the week by gathering its members and insiders for a sunset yacht party, presented by Garage Clothing. It felt like a reunion of the cool, the creative and the chronically booked. With notable names such as the Talabi Twins, Sarah and Leah Talabi, owners of a productions company & creators of the Talabi Report, elegantly showcased throughout this multi- million dollar yacht.
Docked in Island Gardens, the 180-foot Gene Machine yacht set the scene. Members were greeted with live performances that included pole and aerial dance, who easily became the crowds focal point. The bar kept things flowing with the nights favorite order, the Spicy Sunset Paloma, and DJ Xandra held down the booth with a set that carried the party through golden hour.
Our Young Bold And Regal correspondent Kelli Hunter on the scene said this,"The coolest moment of the night was feeling like Miami elite and the glitz and glam it's known for from start to finish. Getting picked up on the golf cart thru the marina. Boarding the Gene Machine yacht and amazed to see an aerialist twirling from a crane on a boat. I felt like a true socialite after getting NYLON x Garage photo moment and being served Ace of Spades as we came on board was perfection."
As the night came to a close, guest didn’t leave empty-handed. Each member were sent off with an exclusive Garage goodie bag, complete with a hoodie in the brand’s color of the season, cayenne. This definitely tied the whole evening together. It was the final touch that felt less like swag and more like a memory from a night that set the tone for the rest of Basel.
