83rd Annual Golden Globes Nominees Announcement To Be Presented By Marlon Wayans & Skye P. Marshall!

This awards season is heating up with the 83rd Annual Golden Globes nominees announcement set for December 8th presented by actors Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall! The year in films and television have been great and Golden Globes nominates the best in these fields and all 28 categories will be announced 8:15am ET/5:15am PST on CBSNews.com, and the CBS News Mobile App. 11 exclusive categories revealed at 8:30a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT only on "CBS Mornings" on CBS.  The nominees will be shown across the Golden Globes social media accounts as they are announced. The complete list of nominees will be available on the Golden Globes website (GoldenGlobes.com) immediately following the announcement. The 2026 Golden Globes are Hollywood's party of the year! And it will air live on CBS on January 11th, 2026.

       Film categories for the 83rd Annual Golden Globes® include: Best Motion Picture – Drama; Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy; Best Motion Picture – Animated; Cinematic and Box Office Achievement; Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama; Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy; Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture – Drama; Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture – Drama; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy; Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture; Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture; Best Director – Motion Picture; Best Screenplay – Motion Picture; Best Original Score – Motion Picture; and Best Original Song – Motion Picture.

   Golden Globes is also set to be making some groundbreaking history with being the first major award show to award podcasting. A new category debuting at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards. This show awards the very best and variety of entertainment consumed around the world. Golden Globes is the largest celebration of films, television and now podcasting. 

   Making the announcements are renewed actors Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall. Marlon Wayans is coming off of his film HIM, a horror turning role that was critically acclaimed. Sky P. Marshall is hailed over these past years for her performance in Matlock on CBS. As an award winning actress, coming off winning the Breakthrough Talent Award at the AAFCA TV Honors, Skye continues to make her way in Hollywood.
