"Marty Supreme" Is Chaotically Great, Magnificently Messy, And Timothée Chalamet's Best Performance In A Film He's Ever Done!

by Evan L. Jackson

The sheer whiplash you will get keeping up with "Marty Supreme" is worth it because along with Timothee Chalamat's best performance to date you have a collection of eclectic characters that overstimulates your movie palette. Enough to whet it but also just wowed by what you get from this cinematic feast. I mean, Gwenyth Paltrow came out of retirement for this film, dammnit! And we are all glad she did. Odessa A'zion feels like an phenom we are seeing burst on to the screen. Going toe to toe with Timothee and just entrenched in their drama. What more can you ask for? How about a heart pacing script and direction that makes you feel as if you are in New York in the 1950's. But offers a timeless element that everyone can relate to.
