2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards Nominations To Be Announced December 3rd!

Awards season is about to get even more fun with the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards announced 10:00am EST/7:00am PST Wednesday December 3rd. The announcement will premiere on the Film Independent’s YouTube channel and the nominees will be listed on the Film Independent website. The main ceremony will be Sunday, February 15. The Film Independent Spirit Awards explores and nominates the best in independent films as well as categories for television. It is one of my favorite award shows  every year because I get to speak to the stars on the work they have put in and the creatives on what they’ve learned in the process.
