Sundance Film Festival 2026 Plans Revealed! Last One In Park City!

It seems to be the last rodeo for the Sundance Film Festival in Park City,Utah! The 2026 Sundance Film Festival plan have been revealed. With one quick hitch is the announcement which has been know for a while that it is its last Sundance in Park City, Utah and moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2027.

  The 2026 Sundance Film Festival is set for January 22 through February 1, 2026 taking place in Salt Lake City & Park City. The last dance for Sundance in the city looks to have over 90 featured films and 50 plus short films. There will be special screenings and world premieres will happen in the first week of January 22-January 27. Panel conversations are set to be held as well.

   I’m hoping to attend the Macro Lodge! What was exciting about the lodge was the behind the stories from filmmakers and the actors. It gave you an in depth look at the pathos of the films presented at Sundance. What is also special about the world premieres is that first time filmmakers get to present their film to an audience that will tune in for decades. I feel some of our most successful filmmakers have been birthed through the magic of the Sundance Film Festival.
