Da'Vine Joy Randolph Earns Golden Globes Nomination!

by Evan L. Jackson
Da'Vine Joy Randolph continues her amazing award season run with a first time Golden Globes nomination! She is nominated in the "Best Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture -Drama" category for 'The Holdovers'. In the film is Paul Giamatti who plays a begrudging headmaster, at a a cold east coast boarding school, who clashes with a young teen student. Da'Vine plays mediator and ally to both who finds ways to bridge the gap between them. You can also see her in the now canceled HBO show "The Idol" where she also brilliantly stands out. I love seeing great talent emerge, having breakthroughs with their performances!
